چکیده
Abstract The main idea of this article is to adopt the thesis that and, at same time, most effective (apart from proper maintenance and operation) element strategy limiting water losses in supply networks continuous integrated monitoring network using latest achievements IT technologies, including GIS (Geographical Information System), GPS (Global Positioning GSM (The Global System for Mobile Communications) software based on a cloud platform. Considering above, paper highlights problem leakages against background deficit world proposes classification methods detecting estimating size leakages. On basis available literature sources, selected modern authors’ opinion, interesting loss systems enabling leak detection estimation amount wasted are presented. Then, these analysed, pointing their strengths weaknesses terms efficiency.

Assessment of Guinea Savanna River system to evaluate water quality and water monitoring networks
The analysis of changes in water quality in a monitoring network system is important because the sources of pollution vary in time and space. This study utilized analysis of the water quality index calculation, hierarchical cluster analysis, and mapping. This was achieved by assessing the water quality parameters of the samples collected from Galma River in Zaria, Northwestern Nigeria in wet an...
متن کاملA Hierarchy of Change-Point Methods for Estimating the Time Instant of Leakages in Water Distribution Networks
Leakages are a relevant issue in water distribution networks with severe effects on costs and water savings. While there are several solutions for detecting leakages by analyzing of the minimum night flow and the pressure inside manageable areas of the network (DMAs), the problem of estimating the time-instant when the leak occurred has been much less considered. However, an estimate of the lea...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Real-time monitoring of water distribution networks
Water losses associated with inefficiencies in the underground water distribution system are not only causing revenue losses for the local water boards but also significantly negatively affect a country’s national water reserves. Even though assisting in defining the problem and in devising remediation strategies for it, posterior analysis of the causes of such inefficiencies are far from being...
